1. January 3rd - Laura Georgia Vargas - 33 years old - mother of four - killed by husband, who then committed suicide
2. January 14th - Susana Enríquez Enríquez - 29 years old - found at the base of Indio Mountain, with hands tied behind her by her own sweatshirt and shoelaces - studies show that she froze to death
3. January 19th - Elvira Carrillo de la Fuente - 72 years old - strangled by ex-husband, who blames alcohol
4. January 27th - Brisia Nevarez Santos - 20 years old - mother of two - stabbed
5. February 21st - Lilia Alejandra Garcia Andrade - 17 years old - beaten, raped, and finally strangled after being captive for a week
6. February 21st - Reyna Saraí Lara - 3 years old - brought to hospital covered in bruises and evidence of strangulation - autopsy showed evidence of rape - presumed suspects are mother and stepfather
7. February 28th - María Saturnina de León - 50 years old - murdered by husband, who then tried to commit suicide
8. April 10th - Julia Luna Vera - 36 years old - gunshot to head
9. April 13th - Irma Rebeca Fuentes - 18 years old - raped and strangled

16. July 25th - Paloma Rodríguez Rodríguez - killed in driveby assassination
